Roteo

Transforming tourism into a social experience.

Product DesignUXMarketplaceMobile AppTravel Tech
01 · Context

The starting ground.

Tourism is fragmented across booking, discovery and storytelling. Travelers buy tickets in one place, share memories in another, and rarely connect with the people who shape destinations.

02 · Problem

The question.

How might we turn travel into a continuous social experience — from inspiration to memory?

03 · Research

Listening first.

Interviews with 30+ travelers and operators across Brazil mapped the real handoffs, frustrations and emotional peaks of trips. Cultural ecosystems were studied as living products.

04 · Strategy

A point of view.

Position Roteo as a social marketplace where experiences, hosts and travelers co-create a feed of meaningful moments — not just transactions.

05 · Process

From idea to artifact.

Strategy → Information architecture → Service blueprint → Prototyping → Visual identity → Front-end collaboration → Launch.

06 · Solution

What we shipped.

A mobile-first marketplace with editorial discovery, host profiles, in-trip rituals and post-trip memory artifacts.

07 · Impact

Why it mattered.

Selected by Campus Mobile, Google For Startups and presented in Silicon Valley innovation programs.
